Cousins to Creators: A Shared Vision in Threads and Thought

We didn’t set out to become designers. But somewhere between family conversations and long phone calls about “what’s missing” in the Indian wear market, an idea took shape.

As cousins, we always had different personalities but shared the same eye for detail. One of us loved silhouettes that spoke softly yet stood out. The other cared deeply about how a piece felt when worn- its fabric, its fall, the way it moved with the body.

And just like that, D&V became our common ground. A space to create clothing that didn’t just look good, but meant something.

Rooted in Tradition, Designed for Today

We come from homes where traditions weren’t just followed, they were cherished. The sound of pooja bells, the smell of incense, the color of sindoor, the buzz of wedding preparations, those memories never really left us.

But we also grew up watching women struggle to find outfits that felt both festive and effortless. Everything was either too bridal or too casual. Too heavy or too simple. That’s where D&V comes in, designed for all the moments that matter, without the weight of overdone fashion.

Think pre-wedding dinners, post-wedding gatherings, family rituals, or festive evenings at home. That’s where our kurti sets belong.

Two Voices. One Aesthetic.

What makes us work is balance. Where one of us sees a clean silhouette, the other sees space for subtle detail. Where one leans modern, the other grounds it in tradition. That duality is at the heart of every design we put forward—an understanding of both contrast and harmony.

We’re not just designing outfits. We’re shaping quiet statements for your special days.

Not Just Another Label

D&V isn’t about a logo. It’s about a feeling. That moment when you try something on and instantly know, it’s right. Not over-the-top, not underwhelming. Just… right.

So if you’ve ever felt like festive wear speaks too loudly or forgets how you want to feel in it, maybe you’ll find a home here. Between threads and thought, celebration and comfort, that’s where we exist.

From cousins to creators, this is just the beginning.
